Post All State

 

1.   Post must reach greater than 100% in membership by June 30th, 2019. 

  A.  To receive hat and other acknowledgements at the State    

        Convention, Membership must be met by April 18, 2019.

  B.  To be recognized at State Convention, 100% must be reached prior to

        the  convening of the 88th State Convention.

2.  Number of new, reinstated and/or new/reinstated life members must total (collectively) at least 5% (see enclosed breakdown for % from June 30, 2018 membership).

 

3.   Post must have greater than 50 members by June 30, 2019.

    a.  For Post under 50 members increase by 3 new and/or reinstated

         members by June 30, 2019 will receive a special award at State   

         Convention.

4.   Post must not be in arrears to District, Department or National for financial

      obligations.

5.   Post Quartermaster must be sufficiently bonded.

6.   Post must have a Post Service Officer.

7.  Post quarterly audits must be current and received by Department

     Headquarters no later than April 18, 2019.

8.  Post must submit quarterly community service reports to Department

     Headquarters. (1st, 2ndand 3rd quarters due by April 18, 2019)

 

9.  Post must make at least one Buddy Poppy purchase (sold in increments of 500), and conduct a minimum of two (2) Buddy Poppy Drives.  Photos must be submitted during year to the Department Facebook page, (VFW Department of Arkansas)

 

 

 

10. Post must donate to at least one (1) of the following listed Department funds:

          Commanders Project

          State Voice of Democracy Scholarship Fund

          State Unmet Needs Fund

          State Disaster Relief (Natural Disasters)

11. Post must participate in the following programs: 

Submit Voice of Democracy entry to District for judging

Submit Patriots Pen entry to District for judging

Submit Teacher of the year entry from one (1) of the following categories to District for judging:

A.   Kindergarten thru 5thgrade

B.    6th thru 8thgrade

C.    9th thru 12thgrade

12. Post must make a donation to National Veterans & Military Support Services.  (Note:  minimum of $50 requirement for All American eligibility)

 

13.  Additional consideration will be given for the following:

A.   Post that ensure positive community exposure (participate in

          civic and patriotic events).

B.    Post conducting productive membership drives (with written

 reports submitted to Department Headquarters).

               C.  Post participating in Buddy Poppy Display contest.

 

 

NOTE:  This year there is NO requirement in the All-American Program for a Post or District to make All State in order to be eligible for All American.  However, the All State Program is laid out to set each Post/District up for success  to ensure they meet the criteria for eligibility for 2018-2019 All American recognition.




District All State

 

1.   District must reach greater than 100% in membership by

     new/reinstated life members must total (collectively) at

     least 4%  (see enclosed breakdown for % from June 30, 2018 membership).

 

 

3.   District must not be in arrears to Department or National

      for financial obligations.

4.   District Quartermaster must be sufficiently bonded.

6.   Districts must submit one entry for Patriots Pen to Department for judging.

7.   Districts must submit one entry for Voice of Democracy to Department for judging. 

8.  Districts must Submit one (1) Teacher of the year to Department  Chairman from the following categories:

A.   Kindergarten thru 5thgrade

B.    6th thru 8thgrade

C.    9th thru 12thgrade
