Tanya Taylor
Chaplain - Army

    Chaplain Tanya Taylor enlisted into the United States Army Reserves in 1989 at the age of 17 as an Operating Room Technician with the 129th Evacuation Hospital.  In 1991 she was ordered to deploy in support of Operation Desert Storm.  This is where she earned her eligibility to join the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  She left the military in 1997.
    In 2013, she became a proud member of the Harris - Hannah VFW Post 6527 in Greenwood, Arkansas where she just became a new Life Member.  In 2013, she was elected as Post Chaplain where she holds weekly Bible study that is open to everyone. 
    In 2018, Chaplain Taylor was elected as District 7 Chaplain.  Chaplain Taylor has been a member of the Western Arkansas Veterans Coalition since 2018 and the WAVC secretary since 2020.  She loves her job as Chaplain and she love the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
